1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking an appointment with Styled by Jess, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all services provided by Styled by Jess, a mobile hairdressing service operating in Parramatta and the Hills District, Sydney, NSW, Australia.

2. Cancellation Policy

At Styled by Jess, each appointment is reserved especially for you. To ensure fairness and availability for all clients, the following cancellation policy applies:

48-Hour Notice Requirement

We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice for all appointment cancellations or rescheduling requests.

Late Cancellations

Cancellations or changes made within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the booked service value.

No-Shows

Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in a 100% charge of the booked service.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact Styled by Jess via the method used to make your booking (online booking system, phone, or text). We recommend providing notice as early as possible.

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that unforeseen situations can occur. Exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

3. Service Delivery

Styled by Jess is a mobile hairdressing service. All services are performed at the client's location within our service area (Parramatta and Hills District). The client is responsible for providing:

  • A suitable space with adequate lighting and access to water
  • A chair or seating arrangement for the service
  • Access to electrical outlets if required
  • A safe and accessible location for the stylist to work

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service completion. We accept cash, bank transfer, and electronic payment methods. Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

5. Liability

While we take every care to provide excellent service, Styled by Jess is not liable for:

  • Allergic reactions to products (please inform us of any known allergies prior to service)
  • Damage to property at the client's location
  • Results that differ from expectations due to hair condition, previous treatments, or other factors beyond our control

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about hair history, allergies, and health conditions
  • Following aftercare instructions provided by the stylist
  • Ensuring a safe working environment for the stylist
  • Being present and ready at the scheduled appointment time

7. Changes to Terms

Styled by Jess reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
